Hi! I’m Katie!
As a student therapist, I am committed to continually expanding my expertise and knowledge within the field, learning from each client I have the privilege to work with. I strive to create a non-judgmental, supportive, and compassionate environment to foster healing and growth for all those I work with.
Throughout my counseling journey, I have developed a deep passion for supporting children, adolescents, and adults in addressing a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, eating disorders, and perfectionism. My approach is tailored to meet the unique needs of each client, primarily drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance-Based Therapy. Additionally, I hold certification in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), an effective approach for clients dealing with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), social anxiety, and phobias.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of South Florida and am currently pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Nova Southeastern University. I recognize that each individual’s therapeutic journey is unique, and I am truly excited to be a part of yours as we work together toward your goals.
