Hello, I’m Cristina Vazquez, a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed School Psychologist with extensive experience in conducting comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for children and adults. I specialize in working with individuals who face a variety of challenges, including autism, giftedness, learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, and ADHD.
With over five years of experience in the public-school system, I am deeply familiar with the role that psychological evaluations play in shaping Individual Education Plans (IEP) and Section 504 Plans. I guide families through the special education process—ensuring they feel informed and supported as they advocate for their child's educational needs.
In addition to evaluations, I provide therapeutic counseling to children and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, and emotional regulation difficulties. I incorporate evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), to help clients achieve lasting positive changes.
My goal is to empower clients to overcome their challenges and become the best version of themselves, whether in the classroom, at home, or in their personal lives.
I earned my Education Specialist degree in School Psychology from the University of Central Florida (Go Knights!), and I’m passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of those I work with.
